Last Day of Kindergarten
The kids 2nd year of school is already over. Kindergarten was so much fun for them. Their teachers were amazing and so helpful throughout the year. We definitely are going to miss them, just like we miss our PreK teachers.

School activities
The kids had their first music performance at the school. My parents, Kevin's parents, Grammy and Karen, Paul & Allie came! They sang about 6 songs, then headed off the stage. Luckily the kids were lined up right next to each other so I was able to get pictures of them all together.
I was lucky enough to take off work and surprise the kids on their last field trip of the year. I put them on the bus in the morning, told them to have fun on their field trip and I would see them after school! Since my niece just got back home from College a few days before and we haven't seen her since Christmas, I thought it would be nice for her to surprise the kids with me. So she met me at Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton and we surprised the kids. The first thing that they said to me was that I lied and said I was going to work! Well it wouldn't have been a surprise if I told them, so yes I did lie! Their teachers were so amazing. Caitlyn's teacher let her come with me and the other two classes so we all could be together. We had a great time walking around the nature park, eating lunch and playing on the playground. We got to see some snakes (the instructors showed them to us before we took our walks) an owl, hawk and other neat animals.
I originally wasn't going to be able to make it to the kids field day because our field day at my school was scheduled for the same day. Since our kids were still SOL testing, our field day got pushed back a week, which meant I could come to the kids field day! They had all different activities set up outside and inside! The first stations were sno cones, water activities and bounce houses. After about an hour and half, we moved over to the next station, which was carnival games. Once our hour and half was up, it was lunch time. We all went into Ashton's room and ate lunch together. After lunch, we did the inside activities. They had a dance party, photo booth, movie theater and snack area. They had so much fun!
