First camping trip of the season

For the past several years, we have gone to Bethpage Camping Resort in Urbanna, VA for their Welcome Back weekend for campers. There were 8 families that went camping this time! We went from Friday to Sunday. The weather was perfect for camping! During the day it was sunny and night time it was chilly, which was perfect for a camp fire!

The kids love when we go camping. We brought their tricycles with us so they could ride on the street with them. Ashton has started to pedal, but the girls still haven't gotten the hang of it. Ashton loves the game Corn Hole. When he saw the Corn Hole boards set up, the only thing he wanted to was play Corn Hole!

For Christmas, the kids got sleeping bag sets. We brought them with us so they could sleep in them. They loved them! Caitlyn has a Tinkerbell one, Brittany has a Disney Princess and Ashton has Angry Birds! The first night they wanted to get under the whole sleeping bag instead of inside the sleeping bag. The second night they understood the concept!

Our next camping trip is coming up soon! We are going to Charlotte for a week!
